Often for children in foster care, there birthdays can be overlooked or forgotten. Here at Crosswell, we want everychild to feel special and loved on their special day!
We are so excited that you all at ADBC are able to help us make our children's birthdays "THE BEST DAY EVER"! Your donated time and money in purchasing items from a child's wish list are such a blessing to our children.
We are also blessed to have the Sumter Junior Welfare League volunteers to help host our birthday parties. On a child's birthday, the JWL volunteer picks up the birthday cake, puts out all the decorations, and lead the party events.
Each child receives THREE WRAPPED GIFTS that consisit of items they have placed on their wish list. Depending upon the type of gift or the value, some items may be combined as one gift. If this is the case the gifts will be listed together, but please try and wrap them as one gift. It is important that the children see 3 wrapped/bagged gifts. If items are needed to be ordered, please take shipping time into consideration.
Below is a sign up for you to help provide these gifts. The leader of the ADBC group who will be sponsoring a child's birthday gifts will sign up for the gift slots for the child's birthday.
